Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that now that Africa is lifted from poverty and instability, entering into a new era of growth, it's time to invest in the continent.

On Monday, the completion of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development, or TICAD Abe spoke to reporters in the city of Yokohama near the Japanese capital.

He said that Japan should deepen ties with Africa - a continent that is closer to the middle of this century will be the center of global economic growth.

Japan has promised over the next five years to provide assistance to Africa in the amount of approximately $ 32 billion.
