In a transmission system for breeder reactor "Monju" was discovered a technical problem
Technical error detained on Monday to send data to the breeder nuclear reactor "Monju" in Fukui Prefecture in central Japan on government surveillance system for more than 4 hours.
Technicians discovered the problem early in the morning, when the warning beep signaled to stop the transmission of data on real-time, including the state of the reactor and radiation levels in the surrounding areas.
Japan Atomic Energy Agency, which is under the jurisdiction of the reactor, found that the server was disconnected computer systems.
Agency staff said that workers re-started the server and data transmission resumed after a break of about 4 and a half hours.
